Membership in the Waynesboro Choral Society starts with an audition. All potential choir members audition before the director, the accompanist, and a few board members. First you'll warm up with anyone else trying out. Then you may audition with a piece of music you select, but also will be asked to sight read a piece of music you're not familiar with. This is NOT a scary professional type audition........because of course you won't be paid for singing in our group! :-)
The Choral Society normally limits itself to a maximum of 60 voices and we currently are looking for additional members and would LOVE to have you come sing with us!
Tryouts for our 2017 Sacred and Christmas Concerts will be held
Monday, August 21st and 28th.
Tryouts are held at our regular rehearsal location:
Main St. Methodist Church in Waynesboro, in the choir room.
Tryouts start at 8:30 and we invite you to come sing with us starting at 7:00pm to warm up.
Come sing some beautiful music and make some new friends!
